Eugene is one of the co-owners of TouchCash, a Markham based Payments company that provides point-of-sale and ATM solutions to Canadian businesses.He is also a native Torontonian.
He firmly believes that every child deserves the nutrition they need to thrive and reach their fullest potential.Thankful to have found Food4Kids, Eugene is passionate about supporting the program’s mission starting in Toronto’s East end.
Eugene lives in Scarborough with his wife Nancy and their three children.In his spare time, he enjoys running, swimming, watching old westerns and training BJJ with his kids.
Jason is a founding Board member of Food4kids Toronto. He is the proud father of two young boys. He is the 4th generation to reside in East Toronto & Scarborough areas. He comes from an entrepreneurial background from within the manufacturing and communications industries. Jason has extensive experience in the management, control and oversight in the planning and deployment of High Tech Audio/ Visual video collaboration and control systems globally.
His passion for helping others was originally sparked by his Grandparents Betty and Gerry, who were not only substantial Donors representative of multiple charities for over 60 years, but also volunteered at the hospital for 27 years, and in addition, serving on the board of directors.
Jason’s passion expanded with having young children entering their school years along with many friends having young children, it became apparent that not all families are living as fortunate as others. Through this experience Jason has developed a passion to ensure no child goes hungry, and is committed and excited to be delivering on this mission into the future.
Barbera Hickey is a dedicated member of the community who has experienced the hardships of food insecurity in her childhood. She came to Canada as an immigrant and lived in a low-income household. She knows how hunger can impair a child’s physical, mental and social development. That’s why she is committed to raising awareness and promoting solutions to eradicate child hunger in Ontario.
Barbera Hickey has a professional background in Project Management and Operations with over 16 years of experience at Scotiabank. She currently manages a technical helpdesk team for Business Banking Customers.
She is also a mother of young twins who enrich her life and keeps her on her toes.
Leveraging over 25 years of experience in multiple channels (Agency, Associations, Government, Retail, Technology, Customer Service and Manufacturing) Sean has a simple yet tenacious approach built on the foundation of emotional intelligence that helps leaders improve both the performance effectiveness of their leadership and their teams.
In 2011 Sean founded DECLARE IT! Inc a leadership development company that has proven to help leaders and teams elevate their performance by identifying and eliminating any barriers to success through practical, unique and sustainable solutions which creates an environment where people feel energized, safe and passionate for their jobs.
Sean holds certifications from Coaches Training Institute, Emotional Intelligence Training Company (EQ-i 2.0, EQ360), Fierce Conversations, Situational Leadership and Rotman School of Business.
